Spanish Rice This is the best spanish rice I have ever had. I omitted the part where you brown the rice in oil for heart-health! | ||||

3/4 cup brown rice | ||||
1 cup vegetable broth or vegetarian chicken flavored broth | ||||
2 fresh tomatoes | ||||
1/4 cup cilantro | ||||
2 cloves garlic | ||||
water | ||||
Place all ingredients except rice into blender and combine. Add enough additional water to make 2 1/2 cups of liquid. | ||||
Place liquid and rice in 2 quart saucepan and simmer until liquid is gone and rice is tender. | ||||
